Working principle of MEJ-PX400 pressure transmitter

It usually works based on principles such as piezoresistive effect or capacitive effect. Taking the piezoresistive type as an example, when pressure is applied to the sensitive element of a sensor, the resistance value of the sensitive element will change. The magnitude of the pressure is calculated by measuring the change in resistance value and converted into a standard electrical signal output.

Main features of MEJ-PX400 pressure transmitter

Wide measurement range: The measurement range is generally from -0.1MPa to 60MPa, which can meet the needs of various pressure measurement scenarios and is applicable to both low and high pressure environments.
High accuracy: The accuracy can usually reach 0.5% FS. Some products may have higher precision versions, such as 0.3% FS, which can provide more accurate pressure data for industrial process control.
Good stability: Long term stability can reach ± 0.2% FS/year. During long-term operation, it can maintain relatively stable measurement performance and reduce measurement errors caused by changes in the instrument’s own performance.
Output signal standard: The output signal is generally a 4-20mA DC electrical signal. This standard signal is easy to connect and communicate with various industrial automation control systems, enabling remote collection, monitoring, and processing of pressure data.
Wide working temperature range: It has a wide temperature compensation range, generally from -10 ℃ to 70 ℃. The working temperature range is from -20 ℃ to 85 ℃, and the medium temperature is also between -20 ℃ and 85 ℃, which can adapt to pressure measurement under different environmental temperatures.

Structural Design of MEJ-PX400 Pressure Transmitter

Adopting fully welded pressure core: This structural design enables the transmitter to have good sealing and corrosion resistance, withstand high pressure, and reduce the risk of leakage. It is suitable for various harsh industrial environments, such as petroleum, chemical, metallurgical and other industries.
Micro amplifier processing circuit: It can amplify and process weak signals detected by sensors, improve signal quality and stability, and ensure that the transmitter can accurately output electrical signals corresponding to pressure.

Installation and use of MEJ-PX400 pressure transmitter

Installation method: The common installation method is threaded installation, which is simple and convenient to install. It can be firmly fixed on the measuring pipeline or equipment to ensure the accuracy and stability of the measurement.
Electrical connection: The power supply voltage is generally 24V DC (some products also support 9-36V DC wide voltage input). Simply connect the positive and negative terminals of the transmitter’s power supply to the corresponding terminals of the external power supply, and connect the output signal terminal to the input terminals of the receiving equipment (such as PLC, DCS, etc.) to achieve the transmission and acquisition of pressure data.
