MEJ-DO700 Optical dissolved oxygen meter is an instrument used to measure the concentration of dissolved oxygen (DO) in water bodies, widely used in environmental monitoring, water quality analysis, aquaculture, sewage treatment, and scientific research.
The core principle is based on fluorescence quenching method: by emitting light of a specific wavelength to irradiate the fluorescent substance on the surface of the sensor, the substance will undergo fluorescence quenching phenomenon in the presence of oxygen (fluorescence intensity will decrease or lifetime will be shortened), and the instrument will deduce the dissolved oxygen concentration by detecting the change in fluorescence signal.
